Danielle Wilsey
Ms. Danielle Wilsey is a Regional Export Development Officer with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Office of International Trade. Currently, she oversees small business marketing and outreach efforts designed to match small businesses with the appropriate export information, resources, and technical assistance with the goal of developing mature small businesses into successful exporters to expand the footprint of U.S. small business in the international marketplace.
Originally appointed to the SBA as a Presidential Management Fellow (PMF) in Washington DC where she was responsible for coordinating export-related reports, maintaining trade finance data, and implementing the Administration’s national economic policy as outlined under the President’s National Export Initiative and the Trade Promotion Coordination Committee. Ms. Wilsey completed a rotational assignment with the State Department’s Embassy in Vilnius, Lithuania as an Economic Officer. There, she promoted U.S. commercial policies, managed bilateral economic relationships and advocated on behalf of U.S. small businesses seeking to begin or expand export activities to Lithuania.
Prior to the SBA, Ms. Wilsey also worked for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Wilsey has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Drew University as well as a Masters in Public Administration from American University.
