Jamie Huang

JHuang headshotJamie has been at OMB since December 2014 working as the OFCIO/GAO Liaison, managing the creation of quarterly and annual congressional reports, and coordinating policy clearance processes with stakeholders. She also the current chair of the OMB NextGen Young Professionals Employee Resource Group.

She received her bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and History of Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her master’s degrees in Public Policy and Middle Eastern Studies are from the University of Chicago. Jamie in an avid half marathon runner with two international races scheduled in 2016: Dublin, Ireland and Montreal, Canada.

In between her undergrad and graduate studies she spent time living abroad in Japan as a Coordinator of International Relations on the Japan Exchange Teaching Programme. Jamie speaks Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, and beginner Arabic. As a GovLoop 2014 mentee and 2015 mentor, she is excited to continue her participation with GovLoop this year on the NextGen Board.
