Emerging Leaders Network @ EPA
ELN is an EPA-recognized, non-labor employee group established and managed by early-career EPA professionals for all EPA employees. The organization was founded in 2006.
ELN works collaboratively with its fellow members, other EPA employees and groups (such as the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and the Environmental Careers Program-Presidential Management Fellows Panel), and experts outside the Agency to provide networking and professional development opportunities for EPA’s emerging leaders. To promote effective leadership and interdisciplinary teamwork, ELN organizes professional development seminars, buzz hour discussions, community service programs, networking opportunities and social events. Any EPA employee can join ELN. Nationwide, membership currently exceeds 1,000 employees, including over 800 members from EPA’s headquarters offices. Regional ELN Chapters have been established or are under development in all Regions, as well as RTP and Cincinnati.
