Erin Quick
Erin serves as an Acquisition Project Manager at the General Services Administration’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM). In this role, Erin works with federal government client agencies to develop innovative acquisition solutions for large, complex, and politically visible IT and professional services initiatives. She manages the overall acquisition and program schedule, sets delivery expectations for her teams, and serves as the primary author of most acquisition documentation.
Recently, Erin was tasked to support the U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and its strategic and operational partners with developing a program designed to identify, analyze, and combat emerging threats, such as Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices, worldwide. This acquisition was extremely complex and Erin focused on developing individual relationships with each client organization in order to foster trust which also led to more efficient and effective consensus building. Her work resulted in the formation of a cohesive acquisition strategy, contract structure, and requirements document.
As a result of Erin’s efforts, the $937 million dollar Task Order was awarded ahead of schedule, saving the U.S. Army millions of dollars, and provided FORSCOM and its strategic and operational partners with a mechanism to promote knowledge sharing, build synergies, and drive efficiencies worldwide.
