Kelley Donaldson

Kelley is the Community Affairs Coordinator and Public Information Officer at the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District. When she is not in front of the camera or reaching out to the community, Kelley works behind the scenes planning the Fire District’s events and acting as a liaison for programs like the Drowning Prevention Network and HealthyRC.

The Rancho Cucamonga Fire District has been delivering generic fire and life safety programs and messages for years. However, Kelley posed that instead of generic programs, the Fire District find out what programs are really needed in Rancho Cucamonga. As a result, the Fire District turned to data analysis and mapping to understand what emergency situations were going on in the City. This allowed the Fire District to make more informed decisions about which fire and safety programs to implement in the city, with messages that matched the City’s demographics.
